The perfect formula for decorating the tree

To create a harmonious and well-proportioned tree, it is essential that the number of baubles and lights is proportionate to the height of the tree. We have developed a formula that will help you calculate everything easily!

Formula for the number of balls:

Multiply the height of the tree (in cm) by 0.6. The result will be the ideal number of balls to use.

Number of balls = Tree height in cm x 0.6

Formula for the number of lights:

For optimal lighting effect, we recommend having approximately 100 lights for every 30 cm of height. Then multiply the height of the tree by 3.3 to obtain the number of lights needed.

Number of lights = Tree height in cm x 3.3

Practical Examples

To help you better understand how the formula works, let's look at some examples:

  1. 150cm tree

    • Number of balls : 150 cm × 0 , 6 = 90 150 \, \text{cm} \times 0,6 = 90 balls
    • Number of lights : 150 cm × 3 , 3 = 495 150 \, \text{cm} \times 3,3 = 495 lights (about 500 for a full effect)
  2. 180cm tree

    • Number of balls : 180 cm × 0 , 6 = 108 180 \, \text{cm} \times 0,6 = 108 balls
    • Number of lights : 180 cm × 3 , 3 = 594 180 \, \text{cm} \times 3,3 = 594 lights (approximately 600 lights)
  3. 210cm tree

    • Number of balls : 210 cm × 0 , 6 = 126 210 \, \text{cm} \times 0,6 = 126 balls
    • Number of lights : 210 cm × 3 , 3 = 693 210 \, \text{cm} \times 3,3 = 693 lights (around 700 lights)
